<p>We don't attempt to solve every Linux Desktop problem. Because of this, we've already solved 99% of them. You can count on your desktop to be there for you, no matter the task or time.</p>

<p>In fact, Adélie's existence was borne of the observation that desktop distros were unreliable.</p>

<p>Adélie isn't satisfied with just being a Linux distribution. While it is important to contribute bug fixes and patches to upstream software projects and provide a reliable experience for our users, we care deeply about bringing industry-leading software to musl, and musl to the forefront of science.</p>

<p>We are pursuing partnerships and collaborations with universities and research organizations to solve a tomorrow's problems using musl-based distributions. We hope to publish some of our work.</p>
